Our Reference Library and Reading Room is located on the Second Floor of Queen’s College and will be entirely refurbished during 2013 and 2014. Although not a “lending library,” the Reference Library and Reading Room at the College contains a large study area with individual tables as well as a significant number of current standard reference volumes in areas appropriate for a theological college, along with an up to date collection of journals, magazines and newspapers.
The collection of books held by Queen’s College for many years has been largely transferred to Memorial University for purposes of lending and is housed at the Queen Elizabeth II Library on the MUN campus where all Queen’s College students have borrowing privileges. The Queen’s College Reference Library and Reading Room also includes six computers to assist students and others with research. The computers are online and connected with the Memorial University library system.
The library is available to students, community clergy, retired clergy and others for study and general reading although it is a good idea to call ahead to make sure it is open at that time you plan to come.
